Remembrance of Fr Atanasio
Fr Atanasio Gonelli, OFMCap was a Capuchin Priest who dedicated his life working among Italian migrants in Australia, especially in Sydney. He tried to find housing assistance for newly arrived migrants, and often helped them find work. He visited them in hospital and cared for their spiritual needs. Therefore, we will celebrate the Memorial Mass in remembrance of him this Sunday at 11:00 AM at St Fiacre’s church. In this Mass, we will also celebrate San Bartolomeo.
We are now allowed 200 people in the Church (including the upstairs choir lofts), which complies with the 2m2 rule. Everyone attending Mass will need to provide contact details when they arrive. Please sit only at the [√] sign on the pews. No one is allowed to stand or moving around the church; everyone must have a seat. Please do not leave bulletin, tissue, or any rubbish. Take all your belongings and clean your seat. For more information and update, please visit: www.stfiacreparish.com. – Fr Pio.
