I would like to express my gratitude for your amazing supports to the Project Compassion and the Holy Land this year. For the Project Compassion, our Parish has successfully raised $3,400 and for the Holy Land we have raised $1,110. All donations will be sent to the organisers (Caritas Australia and the Franciscan Friars). Many thanks for your generous support.
Good Shepherd Sunday
This Sunday is the Good Shepherd Sunday, and at the same time, the World Day of Prayer for Vocation. The Order of Friars Minor Capuchin invites you to pray for young people who are discerning to the priesthood and religious life. The Month of Mary
Next Sunday (2nd May), we will enter May, which is also known in our tradition as the Month of Mary. As our Parish is under the patronage of the Immaculate Conception, let us increase our devotions to our Blessed Mother, both in the church and among our family members. Ad Jesum Per Mariam.
Preparation for Holy Communion
Please pray for the candidates of the First Holy Communion and their parents. They will start their first lesson on Monday, 26th April. As the number of participants is quite big, so there will be two sessions: 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm. Please note that this class is only open for students who have accomplished their Sacrament of Reconciliation, and that the registration will be closed this Monday.
